Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
"Anti-social behaviour (ASB) can ruin lives. Tackling it is a priority for Cambridgeshire Constabulary. That’s why we’re sending out a clear message that it won’t be tolerated. We will continue to relentlessly target those responsible for ASB using all the tools available to us.
We are committed to ensuring ASB issues are highlighted and dealt with. However, to be truly effective in tackling ASB we cannot target issues in isolation. We will continue to work closely with local partner agencies and communities to find long-term solutions to ASB.
Everyone who lives, works and visits in Cambridgeshire has the right to do so without feeling harassed or intimidated by the behaviour of others and we will continue to robustly tackle ASB.
We aim to transfer the fear of crime and ASB away from law-abiding citizens to offenders. It is those who break the law and behave anti-socially who should be worried. To those who think it is acceptable to behave in an anti-social manner our message is clear. It is not acceptable and we will find you."
Assistant Chief Constable Mark Hopkins
