Domestic Violence
This section gives you advice and information about domestic violence and what you can do about it.
The act of physical violence by one person against another is a crime. Other forms of domestic violence or abuse may also constitute a criminal offence. If you are a victim of domestic violence you do not have to suffer at the hands of your abuser. Help and support are available to you.
If you, or your children, are in physical danger from an abusive partner or family member, call 999 and ask for the police.
If you are a victim of domestic violence, please remember it is not your fault. Domestic violence is a crime, and it is something Cambridgeshire Constabulary takes extremely seriously.
