Thames Valley Police and the RAF have joined forces to produce a video highlighting the dangers of internet chat room, a scheme adopted by Cambridgeshire Constabulary. Presented by Carol Vorderman the video includes all the advice found in these pages.
The video demonstrates how paedophiles will build up a relationship with younger people over a period of time, gaining their trust and confidence, then arrange to meet. Two teenage girls who fell for the paedophile trap but fortunately came to no harm explain what happened to them.
Carol Vorderman also takes viewers through the six points which should ensure chatrooms are used safely and without threat.
