How are we doing

In this section you will find information on the performance of the Constabulary covering many of the areas of our work.

The Local Policing Plan (2011-14) explains how policing resources are to be used across the county and sets the priorities for Cambridgeshire. Cambridgeshire Police Authority set out the plan after listening to your views gathered at neighbourhood panel meetings, street meetings and local surgeries – in addition to reading your feedback to E-cops messages and your responses to our surveys.

The priorities that were set are routinely monitored internally by the Constabulary and on a quarterly basis by the Police Authority Scrutiny Committee. It is important to remember that although reducing the crime and disorder which affects you most is one of our priorities, this doesn’t fully reflect our wider organisational responsibilities.

The data available through the Crime and Policing Comparator allows you to see how we compare with other forces nationally, and the crime mapping website shows current crime and Anti-social Behaviour in your area. In addition to this, you may be interested to read Chief Constable Simon Parr’s overview of performance against our wider priorities that was considered by most recently by the Police Authority.
